Lots of things. First, this last weekend was spent with Bryan’s family and we had a lot of fun. Nice, relaxing. Fun.
Next: the first actual review, rather than article, about The Dark Knight I’ve found so far. I’m so excited!
And pertaining to my last entry, Will Smith did once again top the box office despite [...]

NaNoWriMo + library books…

… have taken over my life. Since November 1st I’ve read 7 books and written over 8,000 words.
That’s not counting all the work I’ve been doing in my main novel. That word count refers to new stuff started specifically for NaNoWriMo.
Hence the lack of posting.
Also, Arbor Mist is delicious. Delicious! And cheap. Mostly cheap. It’s [...]

Does this make any other female distinctly sad?
I suppose it still means the occasional beer is fine, but even so… I think I’ll have my German lager with an undertone of worry with it from now on.
Alcohol.

Freitag, 7 Juli, 2006:
Friday was the Hofbrauhaus! (*dances a jig*) Oh. Yes, I do need to tell you about it, I suppose. Yes. The Hofbrauhaus is a fantastically interesting place. But I haven’t actually sat down to write about it yet. *sigh* It’s extremely annoying to not have a desk lamp that works because when [...]
Stammtisch: the single German word for "people having fun and being loud at a table."

Thus starts the first of my many catch-up posts. Click to the left as you go to find the post you haven’t read yet, as it’ll be the easiest way to keep track.
So last night was the Stammtisch, which as far as I can translate from “Stimme” and “tisch” means something like “people having fun [...]
Biergarten! Or, How I Celebrated My 4th of July.

I hadn’t really thought about it being the 4th of July until when checking my email yesterday and noticed the date. Perhaps it was because it was Tuesday, and perhaps it was because I’m in Germany (I mean, seriously) it had totally slipped my mind.
Anyway, the Biergarten! I met at the Institut at 18 Uhr [...]
